Our Approach

Restraint as a design principle

Marvel Eyewear designs and develops eyewear from a studio in Germany, working with acetate, titanium and TR90 sourced from specialist European manufacturers. Every silhouette begins as a hand-drawn sketch and is refined over dozens of iterations before it becomes a frame.

We favour proportion over ornament, and materials that age well over materials that impress on day one. It is a slower way to design eyewear — and, we think, the only way that produces frames worth keeping.
